Put me down on the no-bang list. I myself have had bangs most of my life. (I have them now.) A few times I have grown them out, only to discover that I like me better with bangs. LOL.
In spite of my own hairstyle, I prefer the dolls with no bangs. As some have said, the bangs that most of the dolls have are so thick and they look... I don't know... dated or something.
I also prefer little girls with no bangs. My oldest had bangs when she got her first haircut at age 2. My hairdresser convinced me to let them grow and I am so glad I did. For us, no bangs means more options... and I don't have to worry that their bangs will be hanging in their eyes if we miss a trim now and then.

I cut bangs in 2nd grade in the mid 80s when the curly fluffy bang was so popular. Let me tell you, I had curly fluffy bangs, with my thick, frizzy, curly hair they were a disaster.
Therefore I don't identify with bangs at all. When I got my AGoT the only one without bangs was the textured black hair dark skin doll, so mine has bangs. So she isn't like me. I am so glad they are adding no bangs dolls. Now I need to figure out how to convince the husband I need a new AGoT (or 2) AND Elizabeth and Nellie. (And if they release a "Girl of the Year" instead of just every 2 year LE's I'll really be in trouble)
So yes, I would like variety. I don't mind that most of the Historicals have bangs, but I really wish I could have had an AGoT without them.

I prefer the AG dolls without bangs. It's not that I don't like bangs, but I just think it is easier to style the hair and such when the doll has no bangs, especially because all the dolls with bangs (except for Nellie) have very thick bangs that start at the top middle of their heads.
